Eric Earle had over 12 years of tutoring experience when he founded Tutor Norfolk, VA in 2024. The year before, in 2023, he had moved to Norfolk, VA from Portland, OR in order to attend Eastern Virginia Medical School. Eric quickly fell in love with the city of Norfolk. 

Eric believes in tutoring. One-on-one in-person tutoring was the driving force that helped him gain acceptance to medical school as a non-traditional applicant. EVMS is recognized across the country as one of the most community-oriented medical schools. The program made Eric think and reflect about the meaning of community. Eric wanted to connect with the local community in Norfolk, VA by offering effective & affordable tutoring in the mermaid city.
